Management
Drill-Lab's management team include respected and well-known names in the oil and gas and surface logging industry. Since the company's foundation in 1990, Drill-Lab's managers have helped the company earn the position of surface logging leadership in Poland and a valued business partner in many countries around the world. This has been done through a constant commitment to excellence, innovation, and the highest ethical and professional standards.
Jerry Kwiecinski
Graduated with an Honours degree in geology from Sheffield University, UK, in 1974. His first work experience was in Uranium exploration in the US, working for Century Geophysical Corp. as a wireline logging engineer.
In 1976 he joined Dresser Magcobar European Operations as a mud logger/data engineer. He worked in various countries such as Italy, Germany, Spain, Greece and Norway before becoming an area engineer for M-I Swaco in Austria, responsible for M-I's central & east European mudlogging sales and service from 1981 through 1990.
In 1990 Jerry Kwiecinski founded Drill-Lab Limited, a UK registered company, offering mud logging services in Austria and Poland. He has been involved in all stages of Drill-Lab's evolution as the managing director, from its start-up through the registration of the company in Poland and its subsidiary in Kazakhstan. Since 2011 Jerry Kwiecinski has been the sole owner and managing director of Drill-Lab Sp. z o.o.
Paweł Georgiczuk
He graduated in geology from the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Wroclaw. He developed his knowledge and experience while working at Drill-Lab, since 1995 (in the field). He took active part in the development of foreign contracts, among others, in South America and Kazakhstan.
From 2005 to 2018, Paweł Georgiczuk held the position of Director of Geology and Maintenance. During this time he was responsible for developing sales of control and measurement services on the Polish market and abroad. He coordinated the planning and development of service activities and implemented new technologies, improving the quality of work. Being responsible for all operations carried out by Drill-Lab, he supervised communication between clients and the company, ensuring openness and transparency of activities.
Since 2018 he has been the Executive Director of the Drill-Lab Sp. z o.o. in Zielona Gora.
Andrzej Smoleń
Andrzej Smoleń was appointed to the post of the Director for Foreign Operations and Contracts in 2016
Prior to his current role, he held the position of the general director of Dill-Lab Kazakhstan, at the time a subsidiary of and entirely owned by the Polish company Drill-Lab Sp. z o.o. Before that, he also held numerous management positions, including that of a quality and environmental protection manager and technical director for Drill-Lab Kazakhstan from September 2006 to March 2009.
Earlier in his Drill-Lab carrier, from 1992 to 2006 he served in various engineering positions at Drill-Lab in Poland, Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Oman, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Kazakhstan and Russia. Prior to joining Drill-Lab, Andrzej had worked for Geonafta Cracow for eight years.
Andrzej Smoleń holds a Master's degree in petroleum geology, obtained at the AGH University of Science and Technology in Cracow, Poland.
